You blog has nice collection of tech tips. As far as design is concerned why don't you try some other theme. Currently it is only white with blue links. Also make some logo for the header.

Interesting blog but you can change the theme.

Also a lot of ads and other widgets distracting from the main content. Maybe you would want to change that :)
