Theme is ok. I sincerely advise you to read may be "the monk who sold his ferrari "
The color in an inspirational blog should be bright for people to feel good and not dark to bring more deep pain. You may read the colors for emotions to get it better.
And dont put archieves with auguest/september etc. Categorize them.
