Traditional Knowledge, Natural Growth Contest
We've launched another contest, this time from the house of Dabur!
This is cool!
I used the product for my Kid!
Ah! Nostalgia!
Writing for this would be tough :/
Would give it a try though :)
will enter to try to win my first prize ")
Last month, I entered the two IndiBlogger contests. This month, I entered the two IndiBlogger contests. I hope that I can soon start winning the IndiBlogger contests.
The Prizes are Drool worthy... Indiblogger! You always bring a smile on my face!
u already won half of those
this one will require a lot of creativity... though, will be easier for the ones who are already parents.. I will have to create a hypothetical kid... too much work. Hope the process doesn't take 9 months.
Hope the process doesn't take 9 months.
Lol.. that is some funda... I am sure you should be able to make one in a week!
Hahah Ashish, good one! I have to first create an imaginary boyfriend to celebrate the Platinum Day of Love with and then fast forward to a hypothetical kid who is all hale and hearty, all thanks to Dabur products. :D The only Dabur product I have ever used is Rose water and khatta meetha Hajmola. :)
yeah tough for those without kids...
I agree with Ashish as well as Ragini, i am single and unmarried, so first a imaginary boyfriend for Platinum Day of Love and now a child for Dabur products contest, next what is stored??
Only Dabur products i used is rose water and rose cream, as a child none! so nothing to recall
so first a imaginary boyfriend for Platinum Day of Love and now a child for Dabur products contest, next what is stored??
there should be a shaadi related contest too between the love and the child contests
Ashish: you could try adopting, or hooking up with a widowed young mother. Both of these approaches would be efficient and quicker.
For everybody else: being a parent is not a requirement. The Topic instructs you to "write a blog post on your understanding of ayurvedic and chemically processed/synthetic products, and its role in a baby's early growth & development". It merely adds the OPTION of writing about your own experiences.
This, then, allows you to write about your experiences, regardless of whether or not you are a parent. You could write about how Dabur Lal Tail made you feel better and stronger when your mother applied it on you. You do remember those experiences when your were 8 months old, do you not?
Apart from Rose-water& Hajmola, can't miss Dabur Honey & Chyavanprash!
For all the singletons, here's my smart idea- how about taking our parents/grandparents help? They have a wealth of info & memories that they'll love to share! Mine are always ready to talk about my childhood! This topic promises an amazing trip to the past! All the best to everyone!
:O :( I am single.
IB so many singles out here, please have a contest for singles :) what say sammya
you can write about your childhood experiences no? or that for your niece or neighbour's kids.... so many possibilities
Why Ranjith is missing and not yet responded? He used to be among the first or second or at least among the top 5 to respond Renie, and missing so far.............
Possibly poor chap is down with a nasty attack of IndiPolicitis he must have contracted on the Platinum thread. I so love making these by lanes on contest thread. But being Indipolice I got to forcibly restrain myself. Even this remark of mine is off topic. But let me make it meaningful by warning you that your comment is not related to the topic.
@The Fool- May be lacking in natural growth due to the failure of my parents giving my Ayurvedic traditional lehas in my childhood or non use of Dabur Lal Tail. I miss Ranjit who could have given some hints or clues on the topic
I miss Ranjith on the forum too! Looks a bit void without his active participation... He is the Dabur kid!
I feel we all can express our understanding of Ayurvedic Vs. Synthetic products (irrespective of our marital/parental status!) Recounting our own experiences can help though none of us have had the privilege of using Dabur Lal Tail when we were kids as it was launched some years ago! My kid is lucky!
loL, I AGREE! imaginary bfs & kids ! And the prizes are so interesting!
Lets see how that works out :)
I want to take part in this one but am thinking how will I write about this as mine is a tech blog..I will make it something unique..Lets hope for the best...
I am not getting any inspiration to write..many of the winners of past contests did not recieve any prizes till now. Many more contest results are not even announced. This is happening in other blogging platforms as well...so there is no motivation ...
it takes time but they do eventually get the prize
You're right TF. :)
How does this work? Do I need to make the post live on my blog first and then share the link on indiblogger?
Yes Pratibha! First, you need to compose your Post & publish it in your Blog. Then, 'Submit your entry' by clicking on the same button on the Dabur Contest Page here- http://www.indiblogger.in/topic.php?topic=91
ATB!
So we have to, write about these ayurvedic medicines and everything and how it helps kids grow??
With our own ' experiences' , of course. It's a little awkward for me writing this stuff, but you know the prizes....and anyway, it's testing all our writing skills you could say.
Entries will be displayed on 10/11/13. Contest closes at 11:59 PM on10/11/13.
This is my first contest participation! The topic is pretty tough but the prizes motivate a lot!!
are these contests only open to parents , I mean I dont think what I can write for this :P !
