Hope that there is a prize for even the first reply along with best illustrations, poems and narratives. 

Now, this one contest looks interesting, especially that there will be prizes for illustrations. 

I used to take my time to post the forum thread... these days I have to race you!

But who is this Hobbit? Is it / he / she ( I didn't read the page, just Googled  ) the same as this one?

Hobbits are a race of people! I take it that you're not a fan of the Lord of the Rings?

I knew about LOR only when someone said on IB forum that IndiAdmins are fans of LOR and they took the IndiVine error codes from that book.

@ Nandini You missed the reply by Poonam on that thread. That image is used as the 403 page for IB. That is the relation. 

And yes, the reason why that image is used is IB's are fans of LOR.

@ Nandini  No need to write about Hobbit, you can write any story - the focus here as far as I understood is how unique, creative and novel your characters are. 

they shud have some relevance to orginal hobbits too if i'm not wrong

OkAY...So...I am confused.  Protagonists and antagonists ..so we write a plot by taking cue of the characters in there? How is this to be done! Am I the only one! Aiiyo!

Pankti, do something. Don't get confused. 

Do whatever you want - write about some characters or write a story revolving around those characters.  But it should be about characters.

@Pankti, Niyati - You are getting confused because you are focusing on the wrong areas. Let me point you in the direction of the most important line.

You focus on this and rest of the things will take care of themselves.

So we are supposed to create a character that fits the plot of this book?

Not necessarily, Pankti. You can write whatever you like. But at the end of the post you add a link to the Amazon link of the book.

By the way, I read the Jacob Hills book. There was a Bunny in the book but no Hobbits.

It looks like just writing about the charcaters is enough but a good story with all those new characters will make it an even better entry.

Who said they should revolve around one thing. Give each character its own story - stories with single characters. Sounds interesting, doesn't it?
