Hi,

I am looking for feedback for my blog, Random Natter ( http://domainofhope.com ).

I'd be glad if you could give my blog some time so that I can take in your opinion and improve on my blogging quotient.

A short bio

I am Sushant Kumar, a doctoral programme student in the area of marketing at IIM Lucknow. I am an aspiring writer and poet.

Hoping to read your opinion on my blog.

Thanks,

Sushant

Hey,

sushant I really like the bio u have put up a blog. "An explorer, an aspiring writer/poet. Otherwise, a doctoral programme student in the area of marketing at IIM "

I have started following your blog, will soon take time out to read all your poems...

A little bit of advice, check out all the widgets that blogger offers, add the ones you like best to your side bar..right now its empty, an archive and a blogroll would be very helpful

Also most people prefer using their google account so adding that would help as well

Check out my blog when you get time

Thanks Vijay :-)

It is heartening to know that you've liked my blog. For the widgets part I am in a dilemma to crowd the sidebar with widgets or just keep it simple to the basic ones.

Stay in touch.

Firstly, nice blog. You've undoubtedly got great writing skills. Even the topic selection is interesting. Definately looking forward to your future posts.

btw, I'm preparing for CAT 10, so hearing that you are an IIM student, instinctively  portrays a great individual in my mind, and you've definately lived up to those expectations. :)

Hey Sushant.. sorry for landing up here so late. Last week was so tightly packed. I finally got time to go through you blog.  You got good writing skills... I like your template - simple and neat. One suggestion I would like to give you is to have 4-5 posts on a page. There are too many posts on a single page. Even I was advised by a fellow indiblogger a few weeks back. presenting 4-5 posts on a page would be a pleasant welcome for the readers. Thanks for your review on my blog:)

Hi,

Firstly, about the title. Yes, its random for sure. But its not natter, surely! Your writing is simple and profound, a combination that is rare to find.

Some suggestions -

1. I can understand how you feel about widgets crowding the sidebars. Since you are so convinced about that, why not opt for a template with just one sidebar? Currently, the real substance in your blog is relegated to one column on the right. Alternately, you could just tinker with the sidebar widths and make the post column wider. Takes some tinkering with html, so do this at your own risk :-)

2. Agree with Loganathan totally, Have fewer posts on the home page. Also, if you have a long post, use the 'Read more' or 'Read full post' feature. It has now been included as a standard feature in blogger.

3. As for the posts on Kasab, I can only say that you are a kindred spirit for me. I have written several posts on this topic on my blog.

4. The poems are superb. Period.

Keep writing - will follow your blog!

Hi,

Just realized one more thing. Once I go into a specific poem page, it is not possible to come back to the blog! The 'Homepage' link only takes one back to the poetry homepage. Do put a link there to go back to your blog,

Cheers,
