Built in the year 930-950 AD by King Yasovarman of Chandela dynasty, majestic architecture of “Lakshman Temple” is noted for 3 headed avatar of Lord Vishnu, Vaikunth Vishnu statue. Temple is built entirely of red sandstone and has almost carved 600 images of Gods/ Goddesses. Temple architecture is a literature in Symmetry, Geometry and Engineering.
