I actually wanted to go and see some sunflower fields this year since I had already been to lavender fields a few years back. As soon as lockdown was lifted and we were allowed to leave the home, I booked tickets to the Hitchin lavender fields so we could celebrate our anniversary with a picnic near the lavender fields. We later realised the sunflowers were not here in August yet but enjoyed the lavender fields instead. It was lovely.
