Hi,I just checked the codes and I suppose they won't be tracking it as the class id as 'The Sorcerer' mentioned is same for all.If they wanted to track the same, they would have not got the option to use image also. But this will be an awesome event and we should spread the news and ask more and more people to watch it :DGreat going Samsung !

I guess the deciding factor is the Stage II.

Yes this is great event.

Just checked - it shows that Seats Left has gone down to 73 which was at around 95 when I saw. Also - there is no code available under Media tab as I write this reply.

Just that - its little confusing how will it be tracked or linked etc.

Aweful live streaming. It's laggy and slightly pixelated. If they're gonna announce part 2 of the challenge at the event, we're gonna miss it for sure.

May be they're facing some issues. Happens sometime in case of live streaming if not tested a day before.

They wont be announcing the part 2 of the contest in this video - so we dont need to worry :)

Cakes should arrive soon! They could be on a low-bandwidth truck.

So much lag reminds me of CS 1.5 days. Oh dude, the cake is still a lie!!11

I have never seen such lag for a live launch video! Its getting boring now to watch 10 seconds action and 60 seconds pause!

Cakes wont do any good now - need some liquor

It went quite well. The steaming was without any lag once the Anchor came on stage. Happy that the issue was fixed in time.

Now waiting to see stage 2 of the contest. Hope to see update soon coz I am sure the guys involved must be busy in pre & post lunch talks.

Cheers :)

What is most attention grabbing about the samsung tab is the price...

MRP is 35k. Price for Asus transformer with the dock is similar. Awesome stuff about the transformer is that the dock is not only is an extended I/O with a battery, but also transfers the tablet's battery at the same time when docked. In any case, Samsung has to price it competively since they don't have a choice. Samsung galaxy tab is temporarily banned in Europe by Apple (and in Aussie).

I thought it was around 30k. The main drawback about the galaxy tab was its size.. neither a mobile nor a proper tab.

As posted on Indiblogger FB page:Here's the thingI am not participating. I tried but if you think about it there's nothing much to write on. How exactly will proper writers go about it? It says on their thing "blog about the features that excite you the most". I am not really too sure what unique features they have. Their hardware configuration and software offerings is somewhat on par with the ones which are made with Tegra 2 and IPS panel. There are couple of tablets which have a good advantage over the Galaxy 10.1! I am assuming their multi touch panel is restricted to 10 fingers. Doing a paper comparison with samsung tablets and with certain offerings from competitors itself shows that their offering is bit expensive for what its worth, assuming they'll sell it for 35k-40k. 10.1 units can't label the price below that as well, those Tegra 2 ain't cheap ;). Unless people have some hands on experience with a unit, I am not sure what people can say about it. I review stuff so I am lousy when it comes to sweet talking. I review not only on the blog, but also on Techenclave, Digit and Chip forums. After seeing how H/W manufacturers are using the blogging community to promote their products via bloggers (aka cheap labour), I don't really think atleast the honest tech bloggers should go about this unless they allow it to.On top of it, Half of the live telecast was not displayed and the system specs gives you a very vague idea. All the more reason I am clueless about it. Specs wise, not really different from Asus transformer: except the dock that comes with asus transformer so it has an advantage, but going purely by paper specs. Yeah, I know people will get access to get media samples for evaluation. But I didn't have to sweet talk Asus, Gigabyte, WD, Seagate, MSI, Corsair, Kingston Taiwan...list goes on. I am not preaching or acting high and mighty and I understand you guys running a business at the end of the day, but sweet-talking in exchange for getting a media sample from a PR who sends media samples to a lot of sources is just plain wrong.  If a person can sell his blog to promote your product, then its also possible that the same person can promote someone else by bashing a rival brand. I don't do neither and that's not the reason why Hardware BBQ is made. Handful of Indian based hardware reviewers I interacted with said it indirectly that Indian readers cannot comprehend technical aspects and I refused to believe that. If editors from anandtech.com, overclock3D, toms hardware and tweaktown say that roughly 1/3rd or 1/4th of their traffic sources are from India, so its obvious the mainstream India media is screwed up big time somewhere. They get about 5-6 million readers on a weekly basis, so if you do the math, you know their statistics from India alone is significant.Just a feedback. Hope its taken in the right spirit. I hope Samsung Mobile India is reading this and I hope they get what I am trying to say- also indiblogger guys. If a person can sell his blog to promote your product, then its also possible that the same person can promote someone else by bashing a rival brand. I don't do neither and that's not the reason why Hardware BBQ is made. They get about 5-6 million readers on a weekly basis, so if you do the math, you know their statistics from India alone is significant.Just a feedback. Hope its taken in the right spirit by Samsung Mobile India and IndiBlogger guys. In 1 corner mainstream journalists are asking for freebies in exchange for writing an article in newspapers (not all of them, but a good number of them) and in another corner a forum is endlessly sending mails to many companies asking media samples and offering certain PR Spin service and in another corner, blogging community is used this way. Hardware scene in India cannot improve if this is the case. Samsung is a tier 1 company, but if you think about it, tier 3 and chinese relabelling companies who clone tier 1 units can use the Indian bloggers in the similar manner. I feel people will end up being influenced easily manupulated to purchase anything and a product that is really made nicely could be pushed behind. As for others, you guys want to talk/hype about something and maybe misguide your readers, its your call. Then it will become a very bad habit that companies will keep you using your hardwork for free.
