I still do not have a GPR   Can someone help me understand why? It's been more than 10 months now I have been blogging. What do I need to do in order to get some page rank? I have been posting regulary with relevant tags.

GPR is no way related to age of a blog and posting frequency. To increase your GPR you need to have other sites linking to your site/ blog. The simplest way to do it is to comment on others blogs and in the process you will be linking to your site.

Commenting on high PR blogs helps.

Its relatively easy to go till 3, but after that starts the real tryst!! Stuff like backlinks, website traffic, content and everything under the sun comes into consideration, thus making it more tough to achieve.

As we move to a higher page rank, our PR seems to get stabilised. The reason is that PR is a logarithmic scale. It is easier to go from 0 to 1 than from 1 to 2 and so on.

Generally Google Page Rank is updated once every six months. But there isn't any fixed schedule vfor it. they do it whenever they feel to do so.

@ ashish: Its a plugin from firefox..you can go to mozilla website and look for search status in the addons section. just install it... it takes hardly 1 minute. you can see the PR and Alexa rank at the bottom right corner of your firefox browser.Simple to use

oh okay, i didnt see this. Kewl. @ranjith yes, google chrome too has an extension. U can search google for that. Its not the same add on for firefox, but you can find one such extension which will give you both the alexa rank and Gpr.
