Looking for talented writers
Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted on here. I am currently looking for new contributors to write across a range of subjects for my online magazine.
http://www.the-nri.com
Contrary to the name of the site, many of our readers are based in India and we regularly covers issues relating to India, as well as Indian communities around the world.
I am looking for individuals with a real talent for writing and a high standard of written English. Unfortunately I am only able to take on a few people and I am actively advertising elsewhere. Interested parties should leave a message here with links to previous work. Alternatively, you can contact me in confidence through the contact page of the site.
@The Fool - we are always on the lookout of new writers. We have not yet reached the point of saturation:) Moreover, there are big changes ahead with a major relaunch. This will involve the publicaton of even more content.
I would just point out that we are looking for a certain standard of ability and a 'right fit'. Interested bloggers can either leave links to previous work here or mail us through the contact page of the site.
Good to know. Saw no activity except unresponded requests. So thought you people are done with your team formation. Good to know you folks are still on the look out.
This is 1 year old thread. There has been no activity for ages. They have lot of writers these days. Don't think they want any more writers.

Guys, only just saw this. For some reason I am not getting updated on responses despite tracking this thread. Will check out the links.
I must apologise if I do not contact all of you. There are limited spots and I am striving to maintain the very diverse nature of the writing team. However, what I would say is that this is an ongoing initiative so I am keeping everyone's details on file.
Our growing audience is becoming ever more demanding. I want to ensure that we retain quality of content so I am looking to take on contributors with exceptional writing ability.
Can I also put a shout out for contributors to participate in some new planned initiatives. They are a couple of months away but I would like to start recruiting now. New areas include.
1. Food. Need amateur cooks to contribute recipes (Indian only but can include Indian fusion food).
2. City experts. Need social insiders who are in the know on what is happening in their city - restaurants, events, etc. Looking at the main metros.
3. Photographers. There will be new section where budding and professional photographers can showcase their work and receive full credits. Only looking for city scenes (ties in with above project) of above mentioned project.
I want to organise a file for all potential applicants, so can interested parties email me at thenriblogger@gmail.com with subject heading The NRI - Food / City / Photographer (delete as appropriate) - Name. Please also post here so I have another record.
Thank you all for keeping this thread alive. Hope to speak to some of you soon:)
How about this: http://veronicaunadulterated.blogspot.com/
Never hurts to hope, does it?
That's a great initative from @The NRI and you have reached out to the best place for bloggers. Happy Hunting.
And did we say that to have a look in our blog but it's more of insights on social media :)
