Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Special Edition Mouse
Every 23 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with breast cancer. These are mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers and friends. If interested, you can also read this Breast Cancer Facts & Figures 2009-2010, from the American Cancer Society.
The Microsoft Hardware Team is doing what they can during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to create a special edition pink mouse.
They’re donating 10% of the selling price to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network of survivors and activists fighting to end breast cancer forever.
You can buy this device here - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=125
If you are not able to buy this device, and would still like to support the Breast Cancer Awareness initiative, you can make the contribution to the Komen group itself.
You can also choose McGrath Foundation for the same. Read more about them here
I am told breast cancer is becoming common among men also. Any awareness program on this aspect?
