So who/what inspired you to take up blogging?
It could be a person or an event that could have caused you to plunge into this addiction.. For me it was the Fake IPL Player..The guy was amazing and gave blogging in India a totally new perspective.
Reason: blog no more functional
Mm...Restless had a huge topic on this one a while back, Chirainda (by the way, a very interesting albeit hard to spell name - what does it mean?) and I'll sum up here what I wrote there:
1) A book inspired me to start blogging. It was a book so good I had to share it with someone. :) Check out my first post sometime if you want to see it.
2) I blog because, well, I see people's reviews exhaustively before buying a book and I would like to provide such a resource for another person. :) Also for the feeling of having someone read a book coz you recommended it.
Chirainda is a typical U.P. word which means a very witty skeptical person ;)
Tigana is the next book that Im buying. Period.
Tell me what you think of it when you finish. :)
Thts gonna take a pretty long time as blogging is the new fever :)
No problem...haha, I can understand the feeling.
When a relationship dissolves into thin year, you are kinda left with no obsessions and i found one, my blog!
hmmm.. interesting
we all hope tht Addy :) Keep rocking!
I had the same reason as you Addy! My first post was on the same "Power of 140 words" :)
I was talking to my friend about my passion for fitness and how i wanted to make people aware of fitness, health and lifestyle. That very same moment he told me...... "start Blogging".
I sure like it and i feel good when somebody reads my posts and likes it....makes me happy.
thts a gud one.. I wish somebody wud hv asked me to write also but i guess they all realised the lack of potential in me ;)
When I was introduced to this thing called Blogging by a friend 4 years ago, I just wanted to make my mark on the WWW by blogging. Gradually, the urge to share my thoughts, opinions and, experiences with fellow people made me blog.
I was initially mad about having a website. I was in constant discussion about the same with a very close friend of mine. I started using random free hosted websites and he ended up starting a blog. Later he was really happy using the blog. Then I came to know that what I required was a blog.
Boring story :P
Cheers
It was my gateway to freedom that I got through writing. I started it because I wanted to pen down my feelings after downright emo/depressing days. Well, it's strange as I was just 15 when I started blogging. :P
facing Tsunami and the thought sharing that experience provoked me to start off a blog
ya..someone or some event.. Think deeply ;)
My hobby was "Gyan Batna". But this gyan of mine was scattered. I started my blog MONEY MATTERS 2 months back so that i can help people with their finances.
My inspiration has been a bit different. I've already spoken about this on my blog, but i'll tell again.
One of my friends used to be in blogging and website building thing. And, he used to own a really mast domain - fattebaz.com. Since I heard this name, I always wanted to buy a equally attractive name for myself.
Then after 7-8 months, I thought found a name - Dhakkanz!! Since then I am into blogging.
Naveen Roy and Anwin J helped me start my first blog .. I remember fighting with them saying that a website is better ... clueless me! :)
Whenever I used to travel, I used to search the net for places to visit, eat, stay...
Never found a good enough site with all the necessary information...
So one fine day, I decided to start a blog and include my travel tales with all the general information for an average traveller!!
So my blog http://myyatradiary.blogspot.com/ was formed, inspired by my difficulties!!
My sister Geeta http://www.indiblogger.in/blogger/26502/ inspired me to blog as she felt that I must share my poems to the outer world and give myself a chance to express in front of other people and here I am.I thanked her so many times but this time I want to tell her whatever I am today in this blogworld its because of her. Can't say anymore..........thanks a ton sis.
you are most welcome ...no need to say thanks
