India Giving Challenge 2010 - Raise money for your NGO and get matched!
Have you ever thought of raising money for your favourite NGO/cause? Were you waiting for the right opportunity? Were you unsure of how to raise money? So here is your chance to dispel all these questions and join India's largest online fundraising event - the India Giving Challenge! IndiBlogger has partnered with Give India for its India Giving Challenge (www.GiveIndia.org/IGC2010) , an event under the Joy of Giving Week (http://joyofgivingweek.ning.com/).
India Giving Challenge, from GiveIndia, is an online fundraising event that encourages NGOs, corporates and individuals to raise funds for their chosen cause with top performers receiving matching grants. Last year, 14 corporates and 100 NGOs raised Rs. 91 lacs from 5,000+ donors and received Rs. 56 lacs in matching grants. This year the campaign has increased its matching grant to Rs. 65 lacs and aims to have a lot more individuals like yourself raise money for an NGO close to your heart.
As GiveIndia is matching funds for the winners, this is your chance to raise even more for your favourite NGO. There are overall matching grants, weekly grants and daily grants to be given out - http://www.giveindia.org/t-india-giving-challenge-matching-grant-2010.aspx
The India Giving Challenge is on from Sep 8th - Oct 20th.
We invite all IndiBloggers to be part of this campaign and raise money in this season of Giving. We are sure it would be an exhilarating journey for you and your donors to participate in this movement and have FUN while raising money for your favourite NGO.

Hey Addy, IndiBlogger is supporting this campaign. Bloggers for the Joy of Giving!
@Renie Then having an icon on the posts you people support would be truly supporting them. Please do think about it.
Cheers!
No harm in adding a Supported by IndiBlogger image? any one game for it?
I'm sorry! for jumping to conclusion!
This is a charity endorsed by indiblogger.
Please excuse my foolishness! I have a tendency of doing that anyway!
