would be happy to change the colours to something better... but am sadly very tech-unsavvy.
i have to use the template that i currently have on the blog, because it is one of the very few ones which allows some detailed data/statistics i have compiled on a post on Rahul Dravid. any three column template, cuts my tables in half! 
if you have any tips, they would be more than welcome!
Saurabh, I'm a comparative newbie too! But I'm sure there are enough techies here, who'd be glad to help folks like us out. :)

i visited your blog too - related to it immediately. the passion you have for football, i have for cricket.
haven't yet read through all your posts, but liked your stuff. the football quotes thing was especially good!
I couldn't concentrate on your writing as the pictures took away my attention, but for once i have seen a blog with pictures and lot of writing together. Great design, similar to mine and writing on sports is certainly a captivating idea.

Nice use of pictures. Your blog posts are like Jodha Akbar (movie) - good and grand but too long. At times, try posting smaller posts as smaller posts can be more engaging and it will help you in writing more often.

Please just change the colour of your template....it looks kinda dreary....bright colours will make it very attractive...
thank you... tried changing the colours of the template... don't think i was too succesful in making it less dreary! :-) however, will figure out the best colour-combo and put it up.
i believe in the old-fashioned 'content is king' philosophy, so haven't paid too much attention to the layout.
Nice writing Saurabh. The site is nicely constructed and the writing is intersting. Like your style too. You may want to consider shortening some of the posts to keep the reader attention from wandering.
