Rise of Regional Language blogs in India

I am doing a news story on the rise of vernacular language blogging in India. Well, I have a few questions to all the regional language Indibloggers.

What is the prime reason begind the rise in regional language blogging?

What do you think, are the main challenges in blogging in your mother tongue?

How many blogs are out there in blogosphere, which are in one or the other regional languages on India?

Is it really the rise or are we still trailing behind???
