Haerd of Scribefire? No? Visit http://churn-news.blogspot.com/2008/12/use-scribefire-to-post-attractive-blogs.html for more details. Cheers.
Nice information, I stumbled it
Hi all
The problem posted with regard to uploading of pictures through Scribe Fire and later not able to see it in full size been sorted out. By default Scibe Fire uploads the pictures with a Maximum width of 800 pixels.
But to show in the blogger template even this is quite big! Hence we get to see only part of the picture depending on the width of the template we use.
All we have to do is in HTML edit mode change pixel size to ,say, 400 px. Then the entire picture is shown in reduced size.
Still we like to show the reader the bigger picture. All we have to do is provide a link to the smaller picture the URL of the original picture. I have put this information in my Tamil Blog. Even if you cannot read Tamil you can get the idea by visiting the blog. The first picture you get to see is the one 'in reduced size' having no link to the uploaded picture. The next one is having a link to the original picture. When clicked it may be seen in its original size.
Good Luck
Kabeer,
I think if you click on the picture that you wish to insert, it will give you the handles to use your mouse to resize the picture - I think. Will try and let you know.
Cheers! Churn-news
Thanks for the compliments Amitabh, Shanker and Sriharsha about my AD blog.
I maintain three blogs in Tamil and quite busy with them because of which I am not able to give sufficient time for my blog in English. Soon I hope to be more active.
@Pavan: I find a problem in uploading the photos or pictures. Scribe Fire doesnot 'auto size' the pictures to fit within the width of the text box in the Blogger template. Is there any solution? Otherwise it helps to preview (without publishing) at the draft stage itself ; a very useful feature . Also we can access all previous posts with one single click in off line!
Thanks a lot once again
I kew about Scribefire from a long time. Though I did not find it THAT useful. Wordpress gives me almost all of it.
Kabeer its a great blog that you have there. Nice head up Amitabh Charms!!! Shanker Bakshi www.shankerbakshi.com
Hi Kabeer, Though you have not put up yir blog for a review, I can't help commenting on it. First, you beat me to it. I always wanted to have a similar blog but never managed to. There are times when ads grab you by the scruff of your neck and impress you no end. And then there are ads that is so regresive that you wish you could throw something at it. By airing your views on the ads you are doing a great job. Your blog is relatively new. I wish you all the best.
That's a good lead Amitabh. Thanks AD WORLD AROUND US
