Would like honest opinion on my blog as it enters its 5th year
What can I say ? This is a blog filled with humourous anecdotes, fictional stories, experiences of being a doctor, yearnings of love, anger at injustice... it's a personal blog of who I am... I'd love to hear your opinion on it.
your blog looks neat and well-structured. The five years experience shows.
the sidebar is badly messed up with text crossing each other and falling in the sidebar below it. It needs to be urgently fixed. In the first post if you notice closely, the italics are being cut by the left margin. Insignificant but stands out in an almost perfect blog.
The blue font colour merges with the backdrop and making it one tone darker would be helpful
your font format is not consistent between two different posts and that somehow dosent look good

but, Godyears menu can change. Nice work with the font colors and style. Writing is simple. Perhaps you cud try and complicate it. See what happens.

Dude, Roshan. Sorry, dude, Dr. Roshan. That is one insane blog. It's like a frickin' road trip (and not just down memory lane). As far as nostalgic blogs go, your's is re-readable like hell, nay heaven! The copy is brilliant and a thunderous hi-five for the 'Author wishes to stress that...' widget. It totally pwns. As for the template, it seems to resonate a certain heavenly/ Pearly Gates-ish feeling. The only (slight) complaint, I have is the font that you've used as your tagline - "There's a fly..." It's probably just me but the semi-formal, sans serif cursive just doesn't cut it for a predominantly humour blog... Curvier, fatter fonts would totally jazz up the entire experience. But then again, it's probably just me.

First of all - How do you find time to be a doc AND make so many posts!??!? 
As for comments - I felt the change in background pretty awkward. I mean, considering the title ('God'Years), the background image really works well. But when it abruptly changes to purple, the readers might get left in the lurch. 
Its just a thought. I must admit - I am an amateur blogger. What can I possibly say to the 5-year-veteran?

Acidwoman, first of all no such thing as "what can I say to a 5 yr veteran".. the whole point is to get others to tell me what they find wrong or can be improved... regarding the "purple" bit , do u mean when the mouse pointer goes over the blog titles and all ?
er.. No, Roshan. I'm talking about the portion you see when you keep scrolling down - the background image changes from the blue thunder stuff to plain purple.
