Hi, Google recently updated PageRank on the new year eve. PageRank of my blog jumped to 4, in addition to PR 2 & 3 for category & some single post pages. A Lovely new year gift, indeed. Did you check yours?

Can somebody explain me what exactly is pagerank??? Off late i hv been hearing massive hue and cry over it!! What does it do and what does it signify??

PageRank is Google's view of the importance of the page.

They say, it adds credibility to your blog.. Smile

Thats wat i get for copying pictures and writing original articles...!

I googled the "khudiram-bose" image placed on your blog & found it at one go. If you can't avoid copied image, why don't you at least hide it from Google?

Yeah, google toolbar or the any seo plugin (if you are using firefox) is the easies way. Alternatively, you can use any of the many links you come across in google search, for example:
