The grey colour small font is making it very difficult to read your posts.. I suggest increasing the font size / choosing a brighter colour for font. Adding more widgets to the right frame (like archives / category cloud) will make it easier to browse through the blog.

About the subjects you choose, I think adding more posts on happenings, releases will make it interesting. "My Fav" lists are good too, But they do not lead to active discussions from your readers. Choosing a non-personal subjects will interest a more wider audience and enable sharing of views from your readers too.
