Helloo all, I am continuously looking for the answer as a travel blogger, What is the best length of the blog post on any travel post?

Some people say 300 words some 600words while other say 1000+ words

Can someone assist me on this, with some proven comparable data.

Meanwhile, I have written from short to longer post but unable to get difference visually :(

Any reasonably written article tends to be around 700 words... and this is what a lot of portals and print magazines as well as newspapers readily accept. Anything less and anything more needs a lot of writing talent. Not that those who write more are able to hold a reader's attention... the idea, language, expression, and even photographs matter so far as travel posts are concerned.

I agree with Karthik on this.

As someone who writes on Travel experiences,I can never write within 1000words.Many of my posts are long and they have been well-received ,too.Just enjoy what you write and if you feel happy and satisfied, you are good to go! My two cents on this :)

300-400 words is 2 paragraphs. What do u expect to write on travel in just 2 paras?

Travel blog should easily cross 1000-1500 words..To make it simple, just create index and add jump links.. makes life easier for navigation

I thinkin thinking too much about SEO just takes the joy out of writing. Work on Title, meta description, featured keywords etc. Google is intelligent enough to pick the rest based on your quality.

Write what it naturally comes to you. Most of my posts generally cross 1000 like this. Some major posts go on to 2K or even 3K.

Length indicates an in-depth article that has a chance with google but that is by no means the only criteria.

It also depends on the topic. Another article on Taj Mahal will most probably not rank well because it is already a very crowded field. But a good offbeat destination that no one has written about? Go for that.

Agree instead of too much focus on SEO better to focus on joy of writing Cool

Travel blogs use a lot of pictures so the length of the post even without a particular number of words cannot be helped. It takes a bit of experience to realise how readers can be kept engaged in the writing and not just looking at pictures. From what I read, I feel the trick lies in keeping information precise and not relying on too many adjectives for content.

Hope this helped.

Its not an essay writing competition so there's no answer to it. It depends more on your writing and what kind of readers you attract. The trick is to keep the readers while not dragging the content to be boring. Some are good at short and sweet. Some are good at lengthy informative and entertaining posts. That's why travel vlogging is the best way out of the two. Mountain Trekker's youtube channel is the perfect example.

Read somewhere the bigger blogs stands better chance to feature on the google front page.

The importance thing is how ! What ! And why ? You write !

If you ask me I'll suggest think in the perspective of a reader

What a reader wants ?

It doesn't matter how much you write ?

If it's in 400 wods and touch to soul then its spellbound

If you write 1000+ but doent seems to intrest then no use
