It's very disappointing to say that IndiBlogger has managed this award in an unprofessional way. Like every award there should be a specific date of declaration of awards. But IndiBlogger never bothered to mention it.

Agreed! It's really unprofressional at this moment, infact this is like no award section anymore because it has diluted itself.

I think since it's Indiblogger Awards 2017, the max they can stretch it to is 31st December.

Let's just anticipate New Years Eve as the declaration date.

someone had made this relevant suggestion that the nominees list include the 'posts' that the nominees submitted for a topic

I wish the Indiblogger team had done this, it'd have really helped showcase all the entries and their efforts better. Especially since most bloggers are prolific and write on various topics

For what it's worth, it's been added now. Embarassed

In fact, I wonder if the judging is taking an equally long time because of this - as judges need to trawl through the full blogsite to find out the posts under the subject...?

Yep. It also doesn't help when you can nominate your blog in three different categories. I've noticed a lot of people, especially in the tech section, have nominated their blogs in irrelevant sections. This might have created more workload. But I don't see any harm in displaying the posts in public.

No, the judges have been given the three posts along with each nomination! Smile
