How many posts you write per month
Was curious on how many posts you write per month and what is the organic visitors per month you get
I write maybe 2 or 3 and I get 40 to 50 visitors per month.
I post around 1 article these days everyday. Earlier I used to post 3 articles per day. I get around 7-9K views per day which are all by Google and other search engines.I have been blogging for 1.5 years now and I really have a long long way to go. You guys here are such an inspiration! I am a doctor by profession, so its really a struggle for me to find time to write more. However, hopefully I do.
Three articles per day! Wow! That's a dream routine that I'd love to be infected with, doctor. :)
Great to see so many ppl interacting on my post. You guys motivate me to write more in my blog :-)
Wondering if more visits to a blog end in a blogger getting incentivised to write better... or are quality of writing and quantity of visitors independent of each other?
I have been maintaining an average of around 8-10 posts every month. Not more than that, it becomes too much for me as well as for my readers. :)
Hmm I puublish 15-20 posts every month.
Quite a lot... unless they are the sort of articles where one copies specs and ust adds a paragraph or two to explain a gadget or a device.
Used to track all this meticuluously back in those good old days. Now it is all sporadic. When I feel like I write in either of my two blogs.
Is a single blog with posts on different topics/ subjects to be preferred... OR... multiple blogs focused on a single topic/ subject?
I write 15 to 20 posts in a month... Have stalled at 10k hits per month... And now just focused on writing more than anything else... Let's see how it grows from hereon
Writing 1 article per 2 days.. mine is a tech blog so there's no drought for fresh content.
I've written around 150 posts so far this year... this is way below what i had planned to write. But I'm sure those who sweated it out for the Tata Zica marathon must be smiling with a figure that would seem unacheivable to many.
Just as an experiment i dint write any post for two months nor any sharing or promotion. My visitors dropped from 3000 to 600/month but now the organic visitors have increased especially from search engines. Can aynbody explain this how?? My blog is 10 months old now.
It depends, if you are looking for the Search engine status or Ads revenue etc. to your blog then 100 page views daily from organic traffic is far better than 10000+ referral or social traffic. Here you will get SERP status at least. It is opposite if you just want it for commercial purpose or ROI or mass campaign (without Search engine status and Ads revenue [Ad revenue normally deducting by Adv company from inorganic traffic) – it means 10000+ referral or social temporary traffic is better than 100 page views for just commercial purpose than natural traffic via search engine. For the first one, it may or may not gradually increase the traffic based on the content and releveant keyword search in the near future. The latter one is, search engine will ignore the content completely for a while and have to again depend on referral or social traffic only until it recovers from unnatural traffic and move to search engine parameters.
Whatsoever, we have to ignore the traffic that comes from search engine bot or search engine’s third party crawling on our web-content.
No fix numbers for me. I write approx 15-20 posts every month.
I write atleast 4 in a month ! seems alright if i do it every week!!
Hi All !
I too a blogger and my frequency is about 1-2 article per day and I generate around 100 per day. Since I am working professional due to which I cannot provide my full time blogging to my blog but yes what ever I come across during office work, I think of one good topic and start writing.
I have a question - do you think if one takes a dedicated IP address while hosting, website speed does increases?
Contrary to the popular belief, doing SSP in a forum full of bloggers with a prime motive to promote just looks silly when there's already indivine and blog review section. Also, SSP is not allowed!!
It's so inspiring to see so many hard working and a few lazy (like me) bloggers crowding the space. [Motivated smile]
ABout 20-25 per month has been the average for me since an year... Mostly short posts (500 words or less). I breakdown a trip into small small topics and write, as it is difficult to find time to write long detailed posts in one go
I write approx 20 every month.
I write 4-6 on an average per month and currently getting 80K+ visitors monthly from my primary blog. 90% traffic is Organic
I have 6 blogs ... I atleast write 6 blogs every day ... Then I write for other people also ... that counts upto 10-12 blogs a day ... On my personal blogs , I have daily hit of minimum 3000 ...
6 blogs...OMG :-0. That is a lot of maintenance.
Thats awesome Ambika ji. Your are getting 3000 hits daily ? How about earning from your own blog ?
I don't see any kind of ads ? How much you charge for a blog ?
Have been trying to post 4 posts a month on the gardening blog, 2 posts every month on the blogging blog, and haven't decided on a particular number for my personal blog. Now the problem is, at times, like, has happened in the past three months, I haven't been regular on any of these, but, now, I have again started working on these blogs.
The 3 year old gardening blog gets around 100-150 pageviews a day, the biggest chunk of the traffic being, Search Engines; around 50 pageviews on the blogging blog, and weirdly enough, around 100 pageviews daily on the personal blog, for the past one month, almost all of which comes from Google, a mystery, I haven't been able to resolve yet.
Your personal blog has lot of stuff on Kejriwal...who seems to be google's darling after Katrina Kaif...so that should explain
Have been inactive for more than a year now since my content goes elsewhere for pay, but at my peak I used to post daily and get about 300-400 views per day. Funnily enough, I still get around that number having been inactive for a year. Explain that :P
That is the benefit of organic search. No wonder "Content is King"
My content is very niche though
