Well there is not single answer for this. For new sites social channels play very important part in driving traffic. For well seo optimized site google will be one to drive most of traffic. For well reputated, known sites direct traffic will come up.
Direct, Google, Facebook are bigger players in driving traffic.
Our blog posts sometimes rank higher in google. Then search engine is the best way to drive traffic. If your blog is not optimized for search engines. Social networks and backlinks are the best way to drive traffic to your blog. For me, the top sources of traffic vary depending on the post, so here are the top, in no particular order:
* Search Engine traffic [Mostly Google, Ask, Yandex and Yahoo]
* Google Now/Cortana [They pick up my blog feed and automatically display it to certain users]
* Online forums
*StumbleUpon
*Google+
