Hi Friends,

I own HTC One M7; my son deleted few pictures by mistake and I don't have any backup. Can you please recommend any software for the same?

I found these sites http://androiddatarecovery.co and http://download.cnet.com/Tenorshare-Android-Data-Recovery/3000-2094_4-75955242.html; but I have heard a lot about virus and stuff so I need your opinion before I give anything a try. Do you recommend this software or if there is anything else that i can try? Free version would be great but if the tool is good and costs a little then ok for me too.

Thanks

MJ

There are data recovery applications available for PC/Mac. You can try recovering your pictures by connecting your phone to your computer and running the application on your pc/mac to scan for the drive - sd card or inbuilt storage of your phone. I have personally used Piriform Recuva, that is free and works great. I had accidentally deleted 5+GB of photographs I clicked in the last year. And before I could know, a lot of those photographs were overwritten, and a lot of those ended up damaged. The key to getting back the data intact is that no write operation should take place on the affected disk.
