An Issue with IndiBlogger?

Just observed something strange, or may be I'm overreacting.

Whenever I click a link to read a post, IB is directing to the homepage of the blog, instead of the particular post.

Eg: When I click on my latest post submitted to Indivine, it is taking me directly to my website, and not to the particular post that I clicked on.

Is there an issue with IB?

Agree , it may turn off the readers or pique their curiosity .Depends on their moods entirely .Rather not take the risk .

Yes... a click on any of the posts that i have uploaded leads to the home-page of my blog (and it is NOT on blogger).

But this is such a cute twist... I mean, I want people to come to me home-page and then search. Can each of us get to choose if we want to retain this system... if Indblogger thinks about 'rectifying' this?

Why do you want the user to search for it on your blog?Innocent

And this is definitely a bug, not a feature, even if Renie claims it to be a feature. Tongue out

But, that can also be counterproductive, coz if a reader wants to read a post on movies and clicks on a link, and it redirects to the home page where the first post is on politics, he may feel cheated, worse even, he thinks the blogger is trying to get hits by naming his post different from its content

We're all entitled to our views, I suppose. :)

You're right about the confusion it may lead to... if the post is an old one. There won't be any if it is a new post or the blogger doesn't upload frequently. But if this does claim to be a feature, I think i will love it. :)

Nice! But Blogger still sucks...and it's comments feature sucks the most.

No, they don't Sealed May be you feel that way because Blogger offers more ways of commenting than wordpress. Wink

Uh *more* ways? Give me even one that works consistently well on the major browsers... For example Chrome !!

Blogger, Name/URL work for me on chrome.

I am now confused on which post/URL I voted Tongue out and looks like I voted for whole blog Smile

If you like a post in a blog, there is a possibility that you would like other posts on that blog too, so in effect voting for the entire blog is not bad Laughing

Yes, I agree but the reality is, we may not like/vote some of the posts on that particular blog. For example, some people may not like / interest on politics topic or topic like hockey sports (though topic is very important for others) just because of well known blogger/author written it.

Yes. I think Renie is playing with IB's code. Tongue out

Told you Blogger sucks!

It is an issue with IB, not blogger. =))

Even your IndiVine post links are pointing to the home page of your blog =))

Yes NSV, you are right. The clickable link for members' post goes to Home page of the blog instead of particular URL/page. Innocent

IB team has to check it.
