Usefulness personified under 1K :P
Guys! This might be unique, but lets name something useful to be bought from 1,000 rupees that we all receive in form of vouchers! (Suppose you don't combine any other voucher)
I would suggest everyone to read "One Thousand Dollars" by O Henry. Google It, you will love it. That is exactly the dilemma we face everytime! :)
Reason: added a suggestion :) O Henry's story!
Bata Sandels available at 999 /- :)
Haha but do we get them on Flipkart?
I tried shopping for shoes on flipkart once, there is too much of a mismatch.
I combined three vouchers to get a DigiFlip Tablet for 4000 rupees. It's cool and I mostly use it to 'listen' to eBooks using an app called FBReader which has a TTS (Text to Speech) feature :)
It is better to combine vouchers and buy something that you wouldn't otherwise if you were spending money... and now Flipkart is more helpful as it allows upto 15 vouchers to be combined for buying from any vendor (not just WS Retail, as it was some time back).
True, its better to combine vouchers. And it woud have been better if we could fly, but since for now, we can only travel by land, I am asking which directions would we choose ;)
Books for my nephew , Bags ( Tote & Clutch for sister ) , Batteries ( rechargable for my camera ) , Next on list is Glasstop gas-stove . Which is better Glen or Prestige ?
I have prestige , but it is very difficult to clean the burners if and in my case mostly milk or tea spills over .So have a close look before buying prestige glass top .
I got 2 Havell's LEDs , Dimag ki Batti jalane ke liye

Ahaa! That's amazing Sushmita! :) Say congratulations to your mom, from my side! :)
Why do you want us to assume that we won't combine vouchers? Of course, we will...
But there are million things you can purchase for a thousand rupees too... and books is just one.
Assumption, well, because no one knows when is the next happy hour contest! :D
Ah, books! They are amazing! :)
I have faith in Renie. The next HH will start in less than a week!
