Dear Biswa, I found your blog to be a bit too aggressive and vocal about your opinion. I would suggest that you be a bit more clear on why you have formed a certain opinion rather than being too vocal on the concept of "I'll do what I want". The moral policing is indeed not appreciated but there is absolutely a clear difference and demarkation between the live-in relationships and pre-marital sex.
The concept that you have highlighted has nothing to do with the pre-independence era or the modern India. It is a concept of the certain ethical values that our country has adopted through the ages and it has nothing to do with modernity.
