how much time you put in your blog ?

5-6 hours a day. Mostly finding topic for my next article and marketing.

Since I've started blogging 10 days ago, I've to invest a lot of time during its development. Currently, I spend around 6-7 hours deciding on articles, reading other blogs, making adjustments etc.

Dang! I had to see this forum post to remember that I have to update my blog! LOL

I'm not a frequent blogger. But, I really wonder how few people manage to update their blogs so frequently, some even daily. I pen down my thoughts whenever I feel like writing! And it is at this time that something creative comes up!

I spent around 5-6 hours everyday for writing the content and about 1-2 hrs per week to check if all links are working gr8, to optimize I mean.

It's sometimes not possible to spend time on my blog even when I want to....usually though, its two hours. Become pretty erratic these days. Already have two blogs....just started one more just devoted to poetry.(http://heartiscontent.blogspot)

I am spending nearly 3 to 4 hours for blogging... it takes two more hours to comment on other blogs.. so daily around 6 to 7 hours..

but why do most of you have more than one blog ?

I write two blogs - one in English and the other in Marathi. The Marathi blog is dedicated to poetry and the English one is general. But I cannot really have time to write two blogs, hence the Marathi one is not frequently posted.

I write two blogs, one weekly and other very irregularly.  My work involves lot of traveling in remote areas, so on many days I do not have net access. But on an average,  I spend half an hour every day. However,  when I post, I spend about an hour - half for writing and half for forwarding the link to regular readers.  I also spend 15 to 20 minutes on reading other blogs.

Good topic. I used to spend like 3-4 hours a day earlier and write 15 posts per month on an average. I reduced these efforts to something like 1-1.5 hrs a day and ~10-11 post per month of late. This was done without affecting the online income. However, the traffic to dollarshower.com has reduced by 30% or so due to the same.

When I started blogging a year ago, I had no idea it would be so time-consuming. (Not that I am complaining). I spend at least 1-2 hours everyday on reading other blogs,commenting on others' blog, responding to comments on my own blog, trying to think of the next post,tweaking my blog page. Whew!!!

I spend about 2 hours per day blogging and the whole day thinking about the next content.

Hmmm ... Seems like most of the blog times are spend in reading others blogs !

i have 10+ blogs sometimes i spent 10 hrs sometimes few mins ... just depends on my mood

Although i maintain six blogs regularly, I just wriite hardly two hours per week.....I like to read other ppls blog I cannot force myself just because the blog needs to be updated...I write only when i feel like writing..
