???
Shall I say best of luck Rajni? [Triple wink]
Applied for it...This will be my first book review and am excited for it....I have decided to try some new things out and this is gonna be one of them....Have realized that any type of knowledge can be very useful..As I had worked for a SEO company of Vietnam as a freelance content writer for 3 years, I'm excited to read about the opportunities for content entrepreneurship mentioned in this book..Thanks Indiblogger...
Mohit I understand your excitement but did you read what IB replied back:
"Thank you for applying to review "The Mouse Charmers" by Anuradha Goyal. As there are a limited number of copies available, book review opportunities are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will let you know if a copy of the book is available for you to review!"
[Grin]
Not my subject
Why dont they have automotive journals..
Why will someone give automotive journals to bloggers for review on a platform like IB?
But still, let me give you company...
Why dont they have Java books
Hunky...........If you're so damn interested of automobile why did you select CS in place of automobile engineering? [Curious]
Rajni leaves no single chance to spill off his smileys [Sigh]
Actually I repent not selecting BA or B.Com so that I could have went in to sudent politics and made a carrier in Politics .. Here in WB, its a really good carrier option now a days..
Hahahaa haaankeeyy... I hate to the tail whenever I read in paper about heroic stunts among Trino-mule student-knights... I get an intense urge to get down and slap those fools wasting their prime time [Wet eyes]
Something which is not yet listed in rajni-pedia !!
Rajni is never tired to poke his nose in elders' talks [Ah this kid! wala tired smile]
Applied
May you get a copy of this [Chuckle]
Have applied, but with so much competition, not sure if I'll get one. Ranji, any match fixing possibility??
Were you hinting at Ranji trophy? [Smug]
Now match fixing has come in Ranji trophy too??? Kya hogaya is desh ko!!!
Hahaaa seems like my replies have been deleted by pro-active somebody... God bless him/her/them!
AS You should give proper reason for each of your replies so that it doesn't get deleted.
It is an ongoing SEO effort by IB to increase the text : html ratio
Hmmm... anyway sometimes everyone of us feel purposeless [Contemplative]
Applied too
@ Judy, Rahul: Cool [Thumbs up grin]
A lot depends on how many bloggers apply to read this book... which, I think, is anyway going to be pretty high.
But as they mention "opportunities are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis", i.e. no bias relating to blog popularity and all... So, kind of cool!
applied...the moment I got the mail yesterday...I need such book from long time.....surely will be a worth reading this...finger crossed....
Cheers!
Anunoy Samanta I don't apply for book reviews regularly, but this time I've found a book to be interesting and that's why I applied..If I'll it then I'll try to read it properly and review it..I'm happy that Indiblogger is giving opportunities to everyone by giving the book on a first-come, first-serve basis...I hope that new bloggers will make use of this opportunity and write some of the amazing reviews on this book..
Exactly!
muft mein review ????? kaahe ko ???
Bhavana, it's only for interested candidates, so there's not a spot to be pointed out [Chuckle]
I too don't believe in non-productive usage of my time as time=money... especially I hate donkeying to make someone else rich without my even slight profit... but good thing with IB is they never nag you to post your book-review... read it at your pace and review when done, if you wish to... unlike other blogging communities you won't get a cheap deadline and whining emails to submit your review... So, applying to review in IB doesn't give us that eerie feeling "oh I'm being exploited!" [Cheers]
unlike other blogging communities
ba
I took 1-2 months to submit some reviews on ib
And I didn't.... as the book was not of my taste... Sigh....
I dont think i will apply for any more reviews on IB. I never get any
This book is not my cup of tea too
Sharma ji, never back down... [Double wink]
nsv may be you always apply late.
If I am not wrong, you had received one book from IB
No. You are wrong. Like always.
lol :P
any one got the book? was hoping to be lucky first time
I guess no one has as yet
Yes... but I take chances where there's no compulsion associated... [Smile]
Otherwise current fee is just 1000 bucks for 300-500 words review [wink^2]
Look Dada... Park Hotel of Kolkata serves you a steamy tea over their terrace... tastier is served at Keventers terrace-top at Darjeeeling... Poltu-da of our lane serves it in a smaller clay-cup... But Poltu-da never complains of his 3 Rs rate because he knows what he's serving and whom he's serving.... these facts do not state that Poltu cud or never can make tea in Keventers kitchen... but he's enjoying this adjustive target customer right now [Grin and wink]
tea is my weakness, bro. whereever it is,
No mail as yet... so I guess my application wasn't accepted. :)
Bad review? I do tend to give straight-forward reviews... and yes, some authors do tend to fight with me, but sweet words that are false have never done any good to anyone.
They never send mails of acceptance of applications. The book arives as a surprise
Hahahaaaa in this regard I would say other blogging forums are faster and more pro-active in sending books [Chuckle]
They are also faster in demanding that you post your review by the end of the day or you'll get sued.
... but I love their participation vouchers
Hehee I too got one recently, rather two, for writing poems [Grin]
or you'll get sued.
I got 5 or 6
ND They send you reminders which look like legal notices
One advantage of applying for a book review in IB is, I just don't have to worry how to get time to read and review, etc.
I'm not one of 70 Mouse Charmers. :)
I have just recv. a copy of 'The Mouse Charmers' by Pengiun Group
Thanks IB and Penguin for the copy! Review coming up soon.
Congo Ankita & Ragini..... [Smile]
Thanks Anunoy :)
