Do the dreams at night really mean something???
This topic is about the working of subconcious mind (Dreams) and how can dreams acctually help in provinding solutions in life...
Identifying yourself with your dreams depend on your ability to translate the environmental clues. Just like people with slightly more understanding of the environment, they can predict things. There are other people who do not possess such a quality in the conscious state or they are not quite well aware about their hidden powers, they get these clues when they are left alone with themselves either with the help of some psychologists, some yoga trainer, when they are only with themselves like when they take a bath or the last one is when they sleep.
For me, this happens quite often when i get the deja-vu feelings. Moreover, people who get to know to translate such things, they can remember their dreams. And, as per my observations, they have deep sleep for a very classically low time frame and they can be very active without much sleep. Once again to state, these facts are mere my personal observations without much proof, pshychologically or scientifically.

I am not sure about solutions..But dreams are the outcome of what you do and what you desire.. for example I am a lot interested in ghosts and dark magic stuffs.. on day I was seriously involved in it and i went through lost of graveyard stories, dark magic stuffs etc.. That night I had the most scariest dreams I could ever remember. SO dreams are always an impact or outcome of what you desire in your life.. http://ballat.blogspot.com

well for one, if you are German organic chemist Kekule, and you see lot of intertwined snakes in your dream, you can decipher the benzene structure and become a famous organic chemist.
[I know, the answer did not help the discussion, but sorry, could not resist writing that here]
On a serious note, although I disagree with Freudian version of interpretations of dreams as they are scientifically flawed, I believe that 1)dreams may just be a way for brain to keep itself active when you are not really keeping it that way (like in sleep) 2) so they may just be an artifact of random electric firings or neural circuitry 3) but then these random firings even in their incoherence are coming from your learning/memory/thinking centres, so they may actually present, although incoherently, some conscious choices or decisions on part of brain!
