No, it isn't. Platform = Blogging platform like blogger, wordpress etc

and how can i post a contest on Indivine. Can you please help? It says that it must originate from "tripoto.com"?

Are you getting any error when you are trying to submit?

Any URL that you want to submit must begin with http://www.tripoto.com/ ( which is the URL you registered on IB )

So if I post tripoto.com/blog as the link. Is that ok? It still gives me an invalid URL

Or even if I just post tripoto.com as the originating link to post the travel writing contest it gives me an error - "invalid link"

Kindly suggest if there is any way to fix this. :)

Try posting http://www.tripoto.com/blog/

You can post your blog URL also on IndiVine but generally speaking, IndiVine is meant to be used for sharing links to individual posts ( like links to your 'Top Ten Places to Visit in 2014' post, etc etc )

Sharing things related to blogging is allowed. But I'm not sure if you can narrow the scope and share things related to travel blogging. I leave that question to the admins.

If you have any other doubts about IB or IndiVine after reading the page link I gave above, feel free to ask.

cool will do..for now i am going to post the contest on Indivine as suggested by you. I hope information about travel blogging is allowed by the admins as it is really an important sub-segment of blogging I feel :)
