Any suggestions or feedback for Mindspace of Tara?

Tara, just going through your blog now... You seem to be a very spontaneous writer. 'Shell of a wanderer'!!! loved it! Interesting titles of some your postings. 'Green dot' is my favorite!!!

My only suggestion would be related to some great pictures you have posted about the places visited in 2008. As a visitor to your blog, I would have liked to click on the pictures to see an enlarged image. (Right now, for some reason, I am not able to do that.) It may be helpful to have them in 'Flickr' or something similar. This will not only make them more visible (avoids the scrolling that is needed currently to locate them), but also saves that scrolling space.

Overall, a well-written blog. I enjoyed reading your posts. And, belated birthday wishes as well!

u mean, i put the pics in flickr and put links in the blog? scrolling needed to locate them- didnt get this. 

i myself had lotsa trouble putting this article up with pics n test allignment.. wanted some better ideas on doing so... pls mail me the details if possible. n hey thanks so much for the read :) and the wishes.

@Tara. I meant that the pictures are interesting and I feel , currently a visitor needs to scroll down the page to see them. They can be placed towards the top of the page / on the side bar where it is more visible. Sorry if I confused you.

@Tara - I have always believed that content is the king and hence I'd say that you are pretty much set. :-) Apart from that the blog also has to be visually appealing and to that end I'd suggest placing a picture that fits the header space and not just a part of it.

@ Tara :- more related pics per post.. and oh yes.. do make a sticky post to tell the readers what you blog about etc.. at the moment all I know is that it is a personal blog.. but what personally interests you.. am not very sure.. so if I am looking for something specific I wont be sure if you have it in your blog or not..

You've got a lovely spontaneous blog going! Don't put any restrictions on that, because as you write your style will take a beautiful shape.

However, I have a suggestion. Why don't you take a slightly simpler template. Use Minima White. I swear by it. Whatever the age of the reader, they can read black-on-white easily. And you can also customize your header with a good photograph of yours. This will also make your writing stand out prominently.

Second, a comment on the previous suggestion by 'deluded'. Please don't remove 'word verification' and 'comment moderation'. Because, hopefully, you will have a heavy traffic pulling blog someday. What also happens is that spam generating bots leave unnecessary links relating to profane and insane topics on your comments list. Therefore, please do not take risk!

as far as the header pic and theme goes, i somehow love these colors and that flower pic so it will take me some time before I decide to make changes. I removed the word verification yday but as u suggest, will put it back once my readership grows :) right now its manageable.
