Its natural you do mistakes but once you get the first step there is no need for anybody to explain things. 

Oh, Subhayan, Yup, finally I got it through my thick head! I just hadn't noticed this html/javascript first. I had gone on to add your own gadget ( that appears last on the left side) and it was like staring up at a blank wall! Thanks so much for taking pain to explain to me.
