An hour-or-two sounds a little arbitrary. By what time exactly will we know when the lines close?  Despite all the extensions, another couple of hours are needed? Who is the late lateef?  

But thank you for letting us know in time. 

And I wish we will be back to dead-lines meaning fixed dead-lines one day. 

Renie, sleep at 10. Don't stay awake till 2.  You can close it tomorrow morning or maybe 2-3 days later in case you forget closing it.

I guess if you're closing it tonight....close it by 12 (predecided deadline) because a couple of hours might be just enough for adding a few foreign, adopted elements to your post :D

I got to attach all the images in my post yet again as they had mysteriously disappeared! 

Could afford to patiently spend the ages pics demand to get uploaded in my m/c!

Is there any date change ? hoping there will not be any lsat min change !!

I have a half baked post ready with me but not anything worth publishing.  Wish this could have been extended for a few days, I was really hopeful for one.

Phew! As always, a last minute (2359 hrs) submission and that too a long one! (of 1545 words)!

I have one doubt !

Since yest am doomed :( as blogger.com is acting up. I tried to make some template changes and suddenly my TITLE is gone and I have huge empty space just before the first post. AS I HAD TO SUBMIT for the contest changed it to dynamic view (as blog title was visible and the space was not there) but it is tough to read in that view . Still I added and submitted. The real problem started now. I am using windows 8 laptop and chrome browser . My comment box and Gadgets are all missing 

I dont kno what to do ? In internet explorer I am able to see the comment box . sometimes even that is missing. Not sure what the issue is ? Did any one face the same  yest ? Please help me out

Also can I add a disclaimer on top of my post that Please access in IE if u want to comment :( I heard a post is disqualified if edited after submission. PLEASE DO SUGGEST 

Afshan....I wanted to post this, but it somehow skipped my mind.....well I had to try for 2 complete hours to get my post done.. BLOGGER was as slow as hell yesterday, I cleared my cache and browsing data; didn't help.....it was only at 11:45 that it started working again. It's gonna come up on it's own I guess.

i had some problems too yesterday with blogger...my post body, images etc right side bar had shrunk on its own....later it became alright on its own too.....i'm not understanding what problem you are facing...but i guess if you didnt do anything it'd come back to normal after a while, like it happened with me.

Yeah Nandini...same with me; TG I have my Smelly 2 Smiley post ready made....else would have struggled.

That indeed brings us to the good-old conculsion- "Do not leave it for too late" :D

Some big problem this time. I just tried to add some image to header and deleted the image later but after that when I was reverting to earlier template, the title disappeared with an UGLY EMPTY space :(

Not sure how to fix it :( Only in dynamic view blog title is visible as of now and comments box is also missing . In IE I can see tht. Few said that they r able to see it on IE and chrome as well. BUT MANY R NOT ABLE TO SEE :( hence am thinking abt adding the disclaimer I mentioned. 

Do U think I can add the disclaimer ?

Yes, you can. The disqualification rule is followed to prevent people from submitting half done posts and editing later or adding pictures at a later time. [ I think that ] Spelling / Grammatical corrections and things like the one you said are allowed.

Imagine you had submitted your blog for the contest a month back. Once the contest closes, you don't see your post in your IndiVine posts anymore. Perhaps, due to some error, your blog post didn't get submitted. You promptly submit a ticket to IB and they add it manually after making sure you wrote it before the deadline (like for example a facebook share in the past proving it).

I guess that is what happened.
