The Indian Puzzle Championship [Online Competition]
The Indian Puzzle Championship will be held on the Logic Masters India site on Sunday, the 7th of July, 2 PM onwards. Other than determining India's top puzzle solving talent, this competition usually has some brilliant international authors providing fun puzzles to solve. This competition is also used to determine the Indian team for the World Puzzle Championships which will be held in China later this year. The top 3 competitors are eligible to make the team.

A note to the Indi Police - This post is of no personal benefit to me, as I am also a competitor in this Championship, and I'm basically inviting competition by doing this. I am merely interested to create awareness about my interest, and this event is a big one on our calendar and should be known to people. Also, I have talked to Animesh in detail about this and he has permitted me to make the post.
Looking forward to your participation.
Regards,
Prasanna.
Hey Indiblogger, Our Champ Prasanna has Qualified from Times Sudoku Championships in Mumbai and will get to go to China in October 13. A warm round of applause should make him win this one in China.
Congrats Prasanna, hats off to you
Slight correction, there's a National finals next weekend that I also have to qualify into the top 4 in, to make it on the Sudoku team (I qualified in 2nd place in the Mumbai city round today) But in general, I'm more confident of doing well in the finals than I was in the regionals, because the slightly longer nature of the finals makes it not so dependent on slight mistakes.
Thanks all the same
Dont mess with me, kid go and win that one and bring a iPhone for me from China
PS Woho how did I miss this!!!
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.
Among the four people in the photo, you are the one smiling the most. All the best for the finals.
Umm, oops Thanks for the correction Ranjith. And yeah, I was probably most relieved after last year. Rohan almost never smiles much anyway
Thanks again.
Nice PS, one for your memoirs BTW I imagined you to be the geeky kind was surprised
Hi Everyone. The results are now publicly announced. The International participants are done too.

Prasanna I can now officially congragulate you
Congo PS!!!
You made all of us very proud and proved that bloggers have brain too...!!!
Celebrate your victory!!!
Haha, when was that ever in doubt AS? Thanks all the same
Rajni, now I'll start calling you Rajnigandha... no, don't think I'm angry as I don't have brain (according to you)... it's only because those smileys you're using of late have sweet feminine touch! Cheers Rajnigandha!!!
Never make 15 year olds angry, Ranjith
I'm sure you will use only masculine smileys from now on.... lol
AS, see this page
Rama Raju while showing assertiveness in the female character, brings out sensitivity in the hero who plays a lyricist. He loves flowers and she likes to light lamps. He writes and she sings. Together they love and believe in freedom. After watching the film, one realises how wrong it is to say that one thinks like a woman, likes certain things like a woman because the soul is the same for both the sexes.
Ranjith What is this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ranjith Awwww then I take the rolling back....
Anunoy - hahaha...I dont really know why this occurred to you now...but bloggers do really have a brain!
Congratulations Prasanna! There's a "The PADE Wizard" badge for you!
Thanks Ritu. I saw that and added it as well. Thanks for that too
Congo's prasanna on the grand win.
Thanks Rio
I second Vijay and Ranjith I congratulating Prasanna! PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot Pankti
Thanks Ranjith just how many people does "us" include?
You can include as many people ( 1, 2, or 100 ) as you want as long it doesn't exclude me.
Haha, fair enough
PS: I am there in "us"
Shhhh... don't tell the others now.
Congragulations Prasanna Seshadri, for winning the IPC 2013 and bringing pride and joy to the indiblogger family. Best of luck for the next round to take place in China. Hope you make India and Indibloggers proud again
I was waiting to just silently link the official results once they're publicly available (International players are still participating, just for fun), but this is a whole lot less awkward Thanks Vijay
Yes Prasanna I checked the IPC website the results are not out yet anyways you are toast of Indi today so enjoy the moment
Important update for those eager to participate :
The Instructions booklet, with details of all puzzle types, how to submit, etc. has now been published on the IPC page. It's always advised to check this out if you're eager to participate.
Thanks :) Wonderful, hope you do. I'll initiate some kind of tips/how-to's/helper posts this year once the instructions are released too. The USA did a similar thing to help new solvers ease in.
This is damn interesting, I have a tough time solving even those simple ones that come in the newspaper :P Rooting for your flight to China, Good Luck, Prasanna!
Well, I won't say I had a tough time solving those, but I was still just as lost at this level for a long time, until I had some guidance, and then I found most varieties a lot more fun than the newspaper ones. Now I try to guide people myself (have 3 "students" at least).
And thanks for the wishes
All the best Prasanna.
And I hope that this thread would kindle someone's interest in puzzles.
Thanks Ranjith :) I hope so too :)
All the best Prasanna!
Thanks AS :)
keep us updated of your shadowboxing sessions...
