I think that they would have left the date as it is if I had not reminded you'll about the results. 

I've seen those who rally win grand prizes are hardly visible in forum talks... so, I'm thinking of taking a leave for few days

@AS I won two grand prizes and I'm always seen on the forum.

This aspect of delay in contest results is a manifestation of Indiblogger's sheer belief in and resolve towards the coveted philosophy "Karma karte ja, fal ki chinta mat kar"

So now, it's one good week since the tentative date of result declaration has passed.

like ranjith consistently posts threads announcing the contests, you post announcing the result date of contests and reminders. keep up the good work

They can't do much. They say, TM guys have not provided them results.

Okay there's no harm in waiting that much But this "last few rounds of approvals" sounds so very parliamentarian 

I'm also ready to wait even for a month provided they don't deny me my tablet. 

I can wait for not only a month, but for as long a time as this tab is available for supply, given the simple condition that I'm straightforwardly guaranteed of its dispatch to my residence

They should give us the tabs atleast for our patient waiting.

Irrespective of what I'd get, I still don't understand the rationale behind keeping straighteners over 1k vouchers in the rewards tally. Come to Paalika Bazaar in Delhi and you can buy three good quality straighteners in that many bucks

Haha. @Snuffles : yep. I can be your entourage during the shopping. Initially these guys would quote 1000+ bucks for a single straightener and eventually they'll settle somewhere around 300. Have grown up bargaining at that market And @Ranjith : that would be such an egalitarian idea

Won a Hair Straightener... my first post for a contest on Indiblogger and i won... happy!Congrats all winners. 

Well, it's very difficult to contemplate on that matter but girls are obviously in a better position to blog about hairstyles. However when it comes to wackiness and canniness which are such an intangible part of entertaining posts, even a few men possessed the prowess. So sending men in oblivion in the Sunsilk contest as well as this one appears a little too fishy to fathom. But nonetheless, none can be done about it. And although it's better not to award straighteners to men, it's bad to deprive them of the sumptuous glittery evangelizing tabs. Happy to win the 1000 sv but I dearly craved for that tab. Congos to the rest of the winners btw

As far as SS is concerned they seem to have assessed the overall blog along with the post of women bloggers. 

same logic was used in their 'fly to New York' contest.

Thankfully they categorically made it  women-only there.

Well, it wasn't apparent from the entry thumbnails but as I checked, one guy has indeed won a tab. Bravo Tressemme for allowing one man to hold thy tab in his hands, as for when that one man shall use the coveted tab, the whole community of men shall savage the treat.

Wanted the tab. Back luck! 

But still happy that I won the voucher and not hair straightener.
