Nice content but I don't see you blogging often? Please blog more often, I am sure there are many who would love to hear from a talented writer like you!
Regarding the layout, a few suggestions that I can think of right now are -
>> The header picture does not give a clear indication on the content, can be changed that is more suited for your theme of blogging. In addition, the current one is also masking the the blog description, so it leaves the reader wondering on the nature of the matter you write on. Also, it is nice to keep a single style font for all posts and not change it often so as to ensure a good reading exp. for the reader.
Rest is good, keep (frequent) blogging
