Peek in, need improvement tips!
I have been blogging since 2009, had started with travelogues. 2010 and 2011 have been very slow in terms of content, but I have picked up this year again. I intend to popularise it and enter contests.
The blogs have expanded to book reviews and random thoughts as well. Reviews, feedback, improvement tips, comments - welcoming all thoughts from experienced YOU! Thanks!

Your travelogues are very interesting (not that the other articles are not, but being a traveller myself I straight away jumped to the travel section). Thanks for taking me to Coorg, Pondicherry, Kanyakumari and Mexico through your writings. What I absolutely loved about them was that they were lively and full of energy, which made the virtual journey even more enjoyable and appetizing! Keep it up! 
A few suggestions that I could think of:
- Can change the the three layout format to two. That will get rid of the horizontal scroll too. Shift the widgets to either the left or right side completely and arrange them in the order - About me, followers, archives, etc.
- Add more widgets like Labels, Follow by Email, a search box -- these are essential for ease of navigation and readability.
- I noticed that you have given picasa album link at the end of some of your travel articles. In addition, you can also add a few pictures from your trips to your narrative, in the blog itself. That will help retain a readers attention for longer spans of time and increase its visual appeal.
That's all that I can think of, as of now. Its great that you have started blogging again, yeah popularize it keep up with the speed and all the best for all the contests that you would be taking part in! Best wishes and keep blogging!

Thanks for the super pep-up! I really wasn't sure how I was faring in the travelogue section. Most of the time I get bored with people's accounts of their trips, hence I try to personalise them as much as possible. Am really glad that you found them lively!
As for the suggestions, a big thanks. I have been thinking about including more images and widgets, but didn't have the idea as to how to place them. I now have a clearer picture, will implement them soon.
One more thing, I have been in search of a good, personalised template creator OR free template website. Please can you suggest something?

I suggest you first search through the templates blogger provides thoroughly. Even then, if you do not hit upon a good one and really think that you still need one only then go in for a free template website. Reason being, I have heard that some templates from these websites can create technical problems in the run, not sure though as I myself never tried it :) So, my personal recommendation would be to stick to blogger. I am sure you will find a lot of options for playing around themes and personalizing them according to your taste there.
