Nice tips and reviews :) Layout is good, but you should use light background cos ur comments are not visible againts dark background. Also arrange the posts so that there is not a lot of blank space between posts as it is now. You can sort the sidebar and footer widgets to make it symmetrical, right now there are empty spaces between some widgets..After these, your blog will get  very professional feed :)
