INDIAN BLOGGERS LEAGUE !
IBL- Indian Bloggers league comes with a tag line (Battle of blogs) Yes indeed a battle, haven’t you seen siblings fighting for a TV remote? The same here, it’s a country wide competition between bloggers, we don’t fight here but our blogs do…
Ultimate purpose of IBL is to promote the interest of blogging; IBL will be a place where seasoned bloggers and budding bloggers will work together as a team.We can realize the importance of team work when we play together as a team for a common TARGET.
So those young and upcoming bloggers who holds the zeal of learning can utilize this platform.I can assure one more thing, Fun that you and I going to experience through IBL will not be available anywhere else even at MARS.At the end of this league, I bet you all will say is chorus “IBL is the best thing that has even happened to me in my blogging life”.
What counts here?Winning? Participating? Learning? None of them, but only the spirit of blogging and the fun comes from that… IBL 2012 features 8 teams representing 8 cities, when we mean “representing” here, you may ask ”Only the bloggers from that specific city should represent the city??” A BIG NO will be the answer… So the question of promoting regionalism is ruled out, thrown out and ditched....

By the way, Bangalore team has also decided to leave IPL. We didn't want to fight over specific issues and leave on an unpleasent note like Delhi, Patna and Pune team. So we waited for a logical point - the conclusion of 2 rounds and then announced our decision to quit. Reasons - of course the general dissatisfction with the way the event was organized - specific instances of which lead Delhi, Pune and Patna teams to quit.
intelligent move , @the fool,
IPL?? Since when bloggers ended up being cricket league/money minting league???
I was called a backstabber and idiot for the below request i made...
Akshay Kumar G Deepak KarthikI am the same person who admired you for taking lot of pains fororganizing this momentous event. I am the same person who requestedyou to throw "The Pussy" out of the ring and asked why were youtolerating.I am surprised that eminent bloggers like you have made the following mistakes1. Not announcing the judges - If the judges are masters of theirgenres and are neutral, no one would dare question their authority.2. Judges not giving a feedback - This is one of the most importantreasons why there was dissatisfaction. Most of we bloggers are open tocriticism. Otherwise, there cannot be any improvement. If there is aright and authentic feedback given by an authority, no one would darequestion the decision. This is where i feel that you unnecessarily aretaking the brunt on the topic of transparency.3. Topics - I directly point this at you.. No offense, but you shouldhave thought more when choosing the topics. You are trying to bringout and showcase the best of the bloggers in India. Some of the topicsare mediocre and not up to the competition standards.Having said this, i sincerely request you to do the following1. Announce the judges2. Talk to the Judges and publish the results with the feedback forall the contests till now.You have started a revolution. I sincerely hope that your effort willnot go in vain in the name of competition rules. It all comes to yourcredibility as the moderators and i am sure that you would want to seethe seeds that you have sown turning into plants and later trees.
an idiot missed the essential phrase which was supposed to be a part of his post and was arguing like a flawless ****er!
It was me who had missed the phrase and corrected it when asked to. But if the Mod has said something like this all I can say it, "Kabhi nazar mat aana galti se bhi."
Aisi lenge ki yaad karega .. I am very angry now and do not want to vent it here. IBL was a sham and the Mods were more than idiots, thats what I can say for now.
I had asked that idiot on what basis they gave such scores and he did not respond. If I knew that keeping that phrase was the biggest criteria of getting scores would have shown them the door the very same day.
The biggest problem of IBL was that you would never know who was judging you and at times looking at the scores, you would feel that the judge was some baffoons.
The Mods kept saying that the Judges were too busy to reveal their names and were doing us a favor by judging our stuff. Well, they had a gross misconception of who was the vendor and who was the customer. Anyway, looking at the language of Mods as brought to notice by Captain, all I can is leaving IBL was Good Riddance.
JULY 1 :)
IBL'S D-DAY :)
Good luck to all teams....
welcome all... JULY 1 :)
POINTS WIL BE UPDATED ASAP after the submission....
DS: sorry for the late response,Genres will be the same for 2 rounds, but sub topics from them will differ in great margin....we have agiven a reserve player, in case if you are not participating, he can play..
Reserve player can be used only once and all players must post only once, we need total of 16 posts from 16 diff persons, 16 out of17 person must ONLY participate..if they fail to submit, 0 points will be given :)
There seems to be a few from Patna.
Technical Question :
What if I join a team and do not wish to participate in the first round, due to any possible reason? Does that mean I lose points for the team, or can I get substituted?
Plus, no one for Kerala Team? IBL and IPL doesn't seem so different in Kerala's point of view!!
That depends on the captain of your team. When the topic is given to the respective teams, the captain of that team will have to nominate a blogger who will be participating, this might happen in the First Round or Second. At the end of the second round, each and everyone in the team should have participated.
And sadly, not many people bid for the Kerala team.
I am joining DS..
