It's a design blog... and something that requires a bit of C&C
I started design as a hobby. Since the time I was a kid (when my physical age matched my current mental age) I have been scratching every impressionable surface with designs, doodles, drawings, sketches and so on. And surprisingly, most people encouraged me.
Soon, it became more than just a hobby to pass-time. It became a creative urge that rises and ebbs like the tides. At one such high tide I started this design blog to showcase my architectural and interior designs. I have designs on just about everything... buildings, products and even people... but this blog has to do more with interiors and homes.
Of course, I am not a qualified architect or an interior designer... not even qualified as a decorator. I am just a jobless engineer who quit her high-paying job to ride her creative horse.
With your C&C I can only improve.
Pssst... besides, it helps to have people give some constructive criticism... as opposed to just the oohs and aahs which admittedly make me feel feel good.
Surya,
You don’t need qualifications to practice architecture. Billions of people practice architecture without qualifications. Qualification is necessary for legal title ‘Architect’, like Doctor, Lawyer, Accountant etc., which is registered.
Please see my comment, which is self-explanatory, on your post, “One For The Chocoholics... Midnight Snack”.
Best,
Remi
Thanks Remi... I appreciate that you took the time out to check the blog out. I do believe in art that is functional, especially when it is applied for products meant to be used in daily life.
Art for art's sake is fine... as long as it is only for the purpose of display that may or may not inspire.
