So 'fun' is just one perspective for one person... another may have ne diametrically opposite, for instance, he may want to browse the MIT website and read the online notes there! There is joy in both.

What matter, therefore, is not WHAT you write about but HOW you go about it.

No worries. It is useless to submit before entries are disclosed. You will get les readership and more chances of plagiarism as your entry will not show up as latest when entriels open and won't show up to people as posted in last 48 hours for them to vote for you either. 

Yes @TF is right.. I learnt this thing and will keep things in draft untill the contest is didclosed. They are taking too much time to approve the entries for contest

I have posted mine on my blog but waiting for the entries to open to post them here.

@Renie Thank you. It was a real quick response than I thought it would be.

@The Fool, @ Janak you are absolutely right. I always did the same. I used to post my entry almost at the end of the contest and the reason was the same.

It has it's own demerits. This time I am planning to post it just before the entries are disclosed. 

But whatever  we plan, plagiarism in one or the other way will follow us. And there is no way we can claim our work as our right!
