Request for technical support
This may at first, seem boring, but let me tell you, at some stage at least some of you could face a similar situation.
A week back, I made a change in my website URL - a minor modification to take advantage of having my own Top Level Domain. Not even once, did I think, this could throw up problems, apart from a temporary drop in the traffic flow (Thanks to my 'blissful' ignorance about such matters!). I tried desperately to circumvent the 'collateral damages'. And I am still at it! Getting the change registered at many of the blogging platforms was really difficult. (I was through with Indiblogger in a matter of about 2 hours. That was great).
Now, my problem is how to get the change incorporated with the posts that I have already submitted. Clicking on them would only throw up error messages like 'Server down' or 'Link broken', because they still carry the old defunct URL.
Side by side keeping the blogging community informed, I also expect the experts here to help me resolve this issue.
My old URL was: http://blog.teega.com
My modified URL: http://www.teega.com
Thanks

Thanks Ranjith. I didn't think of that. Let me try if I can do it.
Thanks a lot.

I am not sure if it can be done but I suggest that you redirect each of your older URL's to your new URL, the way it is done for Blogger blogs with a custom domain. And if you think that it is a difficult task, atleast do the task of redirecting all pages of blog.teega.com to teega.com. I think that this is a much easier task. And in this way, PR also gets transferred within a month or two.
