ASIA CUP March 2012 - Discussion Thread
India embark on a 3 game group stage to face their Asian friends (or not!) in the once-in-two-years tournament, The Asia Cup. All matches taking place at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh.
India will face:
- Sri Lanka (again) on March 13, Tuesday. / Ind won by 50 runs
- Bangladesh (hosts) on March 16, Friday. | Ind lost by 5 wickets
- Pakistan (arch-rivals) on March 18, Sunday. | Ind won by 5 wickets
And if they end up top two, they'll be in the finals. Can the Men in (Light)Blue put up a solid performance? They are the defending champions of the tournament, having won the last edition in 2010.

India shine today.. chase down a mammoth 330, thanks to Virat's 183, and ably supported by SRT and Rohit Sharma, both getting 50s.
India I thought bowled waywardly, and gave away a lot more than what was needed; and Pakistan also played well to get the runs, placing them in gaps etc.
It was a batsman's game today, both sides shining with the bat, to give cricket as the eventual winner! Kudos.
India however aren't just through.. Bangladesh can crash the party again, if they win against the Islanders, the Tigers will go through to the finals... a Tense Tuesday awaits the nation's cricket lovers! 
big match for India today. Bangladesh taking on Sri Lanka. if the former wins, we r out. if not its India Pakistan rivalry renewed.
Hope CB serries nightmare don't repeat . I too want to watch Ind v/s Pak finals for a chnage .........
