If you are really worried about your pagerank or mozrank, then use a self hosted site and then you can control the 301 redirect. Your hosting provider will be able to help you if you take a self-hosting option with your own domain. It takes about 30 seconds to set it up.

Try hosting.co.in, it's pretty cheap.  600 bucks per year for linux hosting.  Domains usually cost around 500 bucks a year. Setup of wordpress takes around 2 minutes and is a single click option with hosting.co.in.
