One India One Pricing ? Debate

Currently with states having different sales tax structure for different product categories are encouraging traders to smuggle products across states and ensure that they profit by default.  This robs the customer of uniform pricing of goods and services across India.  Now the tragedy is that to solve one problem of Airlines, the GOI has allowed direct imports of ATF.  Most of the well managed companies have neutralised the sales tax by averaging and offering the consumers the benefit of uniform pricing for more than a decade, the problem is prevaiing in petroleum products, stamp duties, vehicle taxation and many of the important categories.  Don t we deserve as Indians a single uniform pricing.
