More than 3 Adsense ads per page. Adsense alternatives
Query 1:
In Google's Adsense rules, its said that on 1 page maximum 3 ads will be displayed [Link Units are not included in this. Correct me if I am wrong]However, check this blog.
This blog has 9 Adsense ads showing on 1 page. I've marked the ads for easy confirmation

How is it possible? While I don't want my blog to look like the one above - too many ads, I also don't want blank space showing on my page. This page is showing only three ads

In fact, my home page shows a total of 4 Adsense ads - 1 under the title, 2 on the side bar & one just below the last pos on the home page.

However, the link unit ad only appears on the blog's home page & not on the actual post page.
Why is it happening this way.Answers would be much appreciated. thanks
Query 2:
Also, are there any other reliable ad services like Adsense. Reliable is the keyword - it could pay less, but it must pay. I don't like the ad type where words within the blogpost is hyperlinked to Ads [i think hovering the mouse over such a word opens a bubble pop-up - irritating]
Reason: formatting
Query 1
If I have choose to host one Adsense alternative, but Adsense-like revenue stream on my blog, what would you suggest?
How are Microsoft's & Yahoo's ad schemes. Are they valid in India? Do they make payments to India?
The reason, why I mentioned these two is because they are big established companies [LOL even Yahoo!]. So even if they pay somewhat less, payment from them would be more guranteed thant say some of the other ad services.
Anyway, your suggesstions need not be restircted to MS/Yahoo only. Please suggest anything that is reliable
Query 2
While looking around for blogger hacks I came across one that allows you to hide/display blogger widgets depending on wheter it is the home page or an actual post page of the blog.
Using this trick, would it be legal if i hide the blank space where i've added my adsense widget, when the actual post is being viewed?
Instead, then I'll only allow the Non-Google ad widget to be dispalyed at that location. Similary when someone views my blog's homepage, the Non-Google ad widget would be kept hidden & only the Google Ad wigets would be visible. This would als osolve the prob,em of blank spaces.
But, would it be legal?
Query 3
How much time time does it take for the PIN from Google to arrive by post? A PIN had been generated on January 7 this year, but even after one full month it did not come. I have requested for another PIN last week. Address enetered is correct. Any personal experiances with PIN?
If you put more than 3 ad-sense ads then only 3 are displayed.. rest of them remain blank...(my observation)....
For other options.. you can use Chitika.. but its not good ..again.. my obervation...

I have used smchange, dgm, komli, tyroo and so on in the past and later stopped using them since I found the revenue is negligible and is not worth my time dealing with them!
You can try using Indian Aflliate based sites, Some of them are really good paying ones.
Like if you see my website, i have only placed 2 adsense units in a page and rest 3 places are for the Indian based affliate ads.
I'm using smxchange,dgm.komli and others.
If your major traffic comes from Indian, then it will work surely.
Thanks
Hi Varma,
This affilite marketing, if I've got it correct, requires you to bargain/negotiate with the advertisers till you agree on a mutually acceptable price. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Right now, I am exploring alternate options like Adsense, where you put the ads and forget all about it. Keep blogging, and when $100 dollars reached they willl send you a cheque. Basically a alternate passive income stream, that does not require me to spend any time on the money aspect. Only blogging.
But yes, the affiliate marketing concept does sound more high-paying. Will explore it at a later time, if I decide to get more serious about money from blog. Thanks for pointingthat out as an option :)
There are two ad services provided by google- one is the popular adsense and the other one is DFP (DoubleClick for Publishers) which was earlier known as ad manager. In DFP, the web site owner sells ad slots to advertisers either for an amount based on the number of page views or for a specific time period. The website owner can run banner ads, text ads or even rich-media (like video and flash ads) through DFP. One can have more than three ad slots enabled for AdSense on a single page if the following criteria is met:1. The ad slots are not exclusively showing AdSense, and other line items are rotating through the slots.2. If at any time, you have three slots that exclusively show AdSense, and no other line items are targeting the slots, then it is your responsibility to disable AdSense on your other slots in order to adhere to the AdSense Terms of Service.
I used the following sources to get this answer. You can refer to them for better understanding

Thanks Deepa for the leads. Will go through them to figure out if I can do something about the blank space that appears instead of Ads.
Will they send payment for Indian Adresses?
Also, what is your opinion about Bloggads.com? Saw Labnol display its ads. Must be good then, no?
Google says 3 units per page, the onus of limiting is on YOu rather than google. If google wants they can blacklist you
Regarding alternatives, there are tonns of them.Just google out,. One link i found is
