I need some advice on the right course of action that I must take...

My article : http://ancientindians.wordpress.com/when-did-kaliyuga-begin/ : this is my article with the all rights reserved. The reproduced article:  http://harekrsna.com/sun/features/04-09/features1345.htm with crucial sentences and links removed.

It has been published in my name, but it misses the key points I was trying to make. They have only published the commonly held view which they hold and deleted the results of my 1 year long research which may help to thow light on our history.

For eg : They have deleted this line : "But the reality is that there were many kinds of Yugas in Indian History. I have written about them and explained them here: http://oldthoughts.wordpress.com/how-many-kinds-of-yugas-are-there/" and broken many other links.

Is there anything that I can or should be doing? Shall I write to them?

Hi Anwin.

Thanks.

Yes, my article is completely original. All the data gathering, analysis etc I have published on oldthoughts.wordpress.com.

Whenever I quote someone I put it in quotes and give a link - this is a reference.

When I summarise some important points of someone's work.. I say Notes from the following source and give the link to that. Then I provide bulleted points.

When I use an image, I send an e-mail to that author or leave comment on their blog requesting permission. IF they give permission, I use it. If they keep quiet I do not use it.

On the image I give the link and say Courtesy: Such and Such.

I try very hard and very seriously to make sure that people get the credit for the work or at least credit the source.

This is why probably, I feel so much when I am not informed or asked.

In the threads you have indicated, I found someone who said that if credit is given a personal blog may be copied.. but a commercial one cannot be copied.. that does not sound so fair..! I have to verify the laws concerning blogging/ersona web-pages.. copy right.

Any way my pages are "live" they get updated with new information frequently. Anyone who "copies" my stuff instead of linking to it will quickly become out of date.

Satya
