More data in right nav bar: howa bout categories or facebook or featured posts
Live traffic feed, i bileive is just waste of space. No real addition
Make images a bit smaller, so you can pack more in one line ..maybe have the ingredint name below or above the image
more content needed to see the final look :)
Try going for an alternative theme. A blog's theme should be colourful as well as light.
White text on ablack background hurts the eyes. Consider going for an alternatiev combination.
The colours chosen for the traffic feed also don't match your blog. Go in for alternative ones.
