Just when I was gettng some more traffic and comment, my Indirank drops. Not that I am worried but how in the world does this work?? My alexa rank is getting worse by the month I think..

Moz Rank is also a factor now. By the way, it dropped by how much?
Pheno, it might be coz of Mozrank or GPR too. Check out in ur dashboard Indistats...
@phenomenon, nice way to put use ur last name ;) and abt the dip, u said it.. If ur alexa did get a dip ur indirank will too.. And as Leo and DS said, GPR n MOZ ranks affect ur rankings
Just concentrate on blogging, the rest of the factors will take care Pheno.. Good luck :)
if the traffic is increasing, your alexa rank should automatically dip.
My blog dipped to 62, but I am sure there is an issue since My google page rank seems to have gone from (2) last month to no pagerank for this month , although I checked in independent pagerank checkers that it is still 2... Indiblogger screwed up... fail :)
You may be right on google thing, Leo too has suffered same situation

if its any consolation you are not alone.. same issue with my indirank.. went down from 65 to 63..
Also Google Page Rank went down to 0 from 2.. Google site still shows my blog's GPR to be 2..

My two blogs have google page rank of 2 and 3 respectively. This month's indirank status says that both blogs have do not have pagerank.

Checking is done, but errors do occur, many times. This time Gpr detection error is seen. Old blog mustn't have been deleted,
And getting some hits , so he is enjoying a rank.
all blogs are crawlled by an automatic script, and hence be assured that they do check all blogs here. As pramod said, errors do occur but its sporadic. You can email indi@indiblogger.in stating the issue with detection of GPR hasnt happened for you.
If the blog is having some traffic, and isn't deleted, then yes, it'll get a rank. let it enjoy.. if he decides to come back, he doesn't need to start from scratch, and if absolutely positively sure he never wants to come back to blogging, do ask him to delete the blog from Indi
